Here's the Latest

Today we're enjoying the beautiful weather and trying to get a few things done around the house before my sister comes home for a visit. Well, everyone but Joel is enjoying the weather because he is sick today with a fever. I'm also in one of those seasons when it seems like I have a million things to do and I need to figure out which is most important and which things can wait. (I have a feeling some housecleaning is going to be pushed down the list). Anyway, thought I would share a few blogs I've been reading lately, since this should obviously be very high on the priority list :)

I frequently check these two blogs to find out what is happening in the larger Anglican church:
Stand Firm and Virtue Online.

Recently I've come across several bloggers that write about the unique challenges of homemaking as Christians mothers. I especially like the ones that share my interests in simple living, natural products and liturgical faith. When I read these blogs I realize that I'm not as strange as it sometimes feels like I am. I may add this one to my list that came recommended by my friend Sam.

Besides reading blogs, I'm supposed to be reading books for my class. I'm finding there are many other things that I would rather be reading, but right now I'm enjoying a book recommended by my friend Jonelle about helping children really learn to worship.

Well, I could write more but I should let my little one out of her highchair. Next time I'll try to post a little video showing her favorite way of getting around - sliding around on her bottom.

I don't have time at the moment to check out the links... but I have to say you do have to post Cami scooting! It's the cutest thing!

(Which sister is coming for a visit?)

Hi, Paula! Thanks for the link to my blog (Ten O'Clock Scholar) - I'm so glad you've enjoyed it. I love the blue wallpaper you've got on this blog!

I'm going to add you to my list of Anglican blogger mamas and put you in my google reader, too! :)

Thanks for adding me to your list Kerry. It really is encouraging to know that there are other blogger mamas with similar passions and interests!
