Just a quick update on the pregnancy. I'm now about eighteen weeks along and looking pregnant enough for those who don't know me well to ask when I'm due. That doesn't count the grandma at my church who asked me about three weeks ago, even though she said she knew she was being "rude"! We are so thankful to be this far along. We've also told the kids and have heard some cute and funny comments from them.
Elena was trying to convince her little brother that we were having a girl the other day and seems to have succeeded based on a few of his comments, such as:
"Mom,when is your baby girl going to come out?" and at the doctor's office the other day when we heard the baby's heartbeat, "Is that your baby girl, mama?" I've reminded him a couple of times that we don't know if we are having a girl or a boy yet, but he doesn't seem to remember that. We are hoping for a girl, so who knows maybe Joel has a bit of prophet in him like his namesake.
And in case you are wondering, we will probably be having an ultrasound in the next few weeks and are planning to find out the sex of the baby as long as he/she cooperates :)

Hooray! I can't wait to see you and I'm so glad you're all doing well. It will be fun if you find out if you're having a boy or girl. Are you going to tell us all what you find out??? We'll keep praying for the baby and you to be well and to be at peace.
