So, I just need to get a new post up so that I can stop being bugged by the fact that I didn't exercise nor memorize nearly as much as I had hoped. Instead, I spent my time chasing four kids, working full time and taking three graduate classes. Before I knew it, summer was here and I started teaching summer school in a class for students with moderate to severe autism. Four weeks flew by and then we were getting ready for the BIG CAMPING TRIP! Now I'm sitting here wondering where my summer went and how school can already be starting in just two days! Ethan has already started his first day of 7th grade and Elena and Joel start on Monday - 5th and 2nd.
Ethan spent three weeks at his new school this summer in an enrichment program. He really enjoyed all his classes and is looking forward to starting his 3rd language (French) and a fun class that starts with drafting and ends up with amateur robotics.
Elena told me that every year goes by faster and the summers seem shorter and shorter, and I think she is right :)
Joel is a little nervous because he's heard that his new teacher is strict.
Camila doesn't have anything to worry about because she'll be at the babysitter's and she loves her babysitter and her boys.
Anthony and I are both back at the same jobs and I'm hoping to finally finish my final credential this year.
So, that's us in a nutshell. Here are a few pictures from the summer:
