Something I miss

This blog post and collection of pictures does a very good job of describing a church family dear to my heart, one that I still miss after 8 years (Can it really be that long?!) It also reminds me why our Rez family made such a big impact on our lives and of the joy of life in Christ that we are so privileged to share. I just hope that we can encourage the same kind of hope and joy in our little Anglican parish here. Sometimes I feel that our church family here in California, can't really imagine having a full and vibrant church because of so many years bogged down in the struggles of the Episcopal church, but remembering our time at Rez reminds me that God is so much greater than our earthly struggles. I'm looking forward to seeing the good things he has in store for our small, but faithful little group. I can only imagine that His plans will be uniquely designed for our little church and better than we could design for ourselves.
