My dad from Montana recently made the trip down to visit us. Here are a few pictures from a little sightseeing trip we took with him. It's so great to have family visit and get to do the things we always say we should do, but never seem to get the chance to do under normal circumstances. Not only did we get to ride on the Jenny car and learn about the Sugar Pine Railroad and logging company, we also "discovered" a short hiking trail to Lewis Creek on our way home. And of course, stopping for ice cream cones on the way down the mountain was the perfect way to celebrate a good trip. This pine cone is bigger than my head!

The Sugar Pine is just a few minutes from my Grandparent's cabin - I'm hoping we get up there while we're out. Looks like such a fun day!
Kids are growing up and getting big! And the baby's so cute!
Gotta start planning our camping trip soon- seeing you guys and all those trees gets me in that camping mood again!

I love your pictures... espec. the one of you taking a picture of yourselves. I've been thinking about camping too! Realizing as soon as I flip the page on the calendar, it's gonna be "this month!" : ) Yay!
